I have known Barry Rear of MECHAQUIP LTD for over 20 years both during my time in General Management and subsequently as Commissioning Manager in the Estates Dept at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
Over a period of years Barry has expanded the service provided and undertakes upholstery work, wheelchair maintenance, ward and general office furniture repairs
The service is cost effective [as has been shown after several reviews] and undertaken in a very competitive turn round time.
I have used Mechaquip Ltd on a regular basis to assist with the transfer of wards and depts. where I require a service on a particular day and time. This can involve dismantling and making up of desks and chairs plus upholstery work.
I have always been extremely happy with the service provided.

Barry has done a lot of work in our Rheumatology Department. He has recovered all the waiting area seating as well as repaired and recovered broken or tatty looking chairs.
His work is of a very high standard, and he delivers a prompt and courteous service.
Barry is our first port of call to see if repairs can be done rather than disposing of valuable equipment and he does his utmost to help us.
He must have saved us thousands over the years!
